INFORMATION ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
CPIFP Alan Turing is a public center in Malaga that has been working on European projects since 1987. The main objectives
of the center appear in our center plan, within the general lines of pedagogical action:
- Integration and equity.

- Broader understanding of different cultures and nations, nurturing tolerance and open-mindedness of the volunteer.
- New organizational and better abilities in operating a wide range of activities and facilities for the target group of the activity.
- Work with a certain target group.
- Language and cultural skills. The format, duration, and frequency of linguistic support depend greatly on volunteers’ needs and abilities.
- Experiences working in an intercultural team, development of teamwork, cooperation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge about the Erasmus+ program and international projects.
- Certification of learning acquired, through the Youthpass scheme.
F1. Expected Activities
CPIFP Alan Turing is an IT Vocational Education and Training (VET) Public School in Málaga (Spain). The volunteers will have the opportunity to learn and collaborate with several programs and projects related to the youth community. CPIFP Alan Turing is located located in the Technologic Park of Andalucia (PTA) and IT city area with more than 600 IT companies and 20000 IT workers.
The main areas where the volunteers will be involved are:
- International projects: CPIFP Alan Turing is enrolled in several Erasmus+ Projects: Students motilities for work placement (in and out), Erasmus+ KA2 projects, Erasmus+ Youth Exchange, etc. The volunteer will give support to the Erasmus+ Coordination (Searching opportunities, giving support to students’ mobilities, collaborating with Erasmus+ KA2 projects activities, etc).
- E-Marketing. Volunteers will support communication and social networks Also creating posters and videos.
- Soft Skills. The volunteer will give support to students with some extra activities related to professions. Soft skills, interviews, public speaking, entrepreneurship, employability, creativity, motivation.
- English. The volunteer will support non-formal education activities to help students to improve their language skills.
- Cultural Activities. The volunteers will help and participate in cultural activities done in and out of the School.
- Youth Information. The volunteer will create a point where students can ask about the possibilities for young in the Erasmus+ Youth Program.
- Volunteer Selection. The volunteer will help in the selection process of next year’s volunteers.
- Information and Technologic. As the Vocational Education is specialized in IT and Electronics, the volunteer will have the opportunity to learn and apply lots of very interesting knowledge (Games Development, Graphic Design, Software Development, , Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Robotics, Drones, etc)
Volunteers will have the opportunity to relate with an enormous number of youth from very different backgrounds and this will provide volunteers with a real view of youth in Spain.
Volunteers will also learn the Spanish language, as this is our native language. Furthermore, they can also improve their English.
Volunteers will have their own office at the school, and also they can work in the teachers’ room to meet other teachers and staff. Also, they will be in classes collaborating with workshops with students.
The mentor gives all the instructions and support for making the volunteer period as satisfactory as possible, volunteers and mentors will work as a team.
Volunteers will have access to the computers, photocopies, and all the resources at the school. Free bus monthly card.

Living Cost (food, cleaning, higyene)

Volunteers could cook their meals on their own in their flats, they are going to receive 150 euros each month from coordinating + 25 euros from Hosting. |
Accommodation
|
Accommodation will be in rented flats shared with other ESC volunteers or other human beings. They will be provided with standard equipment and essential household goods and electricity, water, and gas will be covered by the hosting organization. The hosting and coordinating organization does not facilitate the Internet connection. Accommodation info pack and flat rules will be provided. The volunteer will have to make a 300 euro Deposit that will be reimbursed once the project is ended and the volunteer leaves tidy, clean, and with no damage in the private room and common areas |

Local transport will be provided for distances over 3 km from home to Project Place Hosting offer |

ONLINE PLATFORM PROVIDED BY COMMISSION, There is no possibility to offer face-to-face language support granted by the project costs. |
